The theme of 'Life on the River', as conceptualised by our Zimbabwean architectural designer, comes through subtly with clay-pot down lighters, fish-trap inspired features and custom works by local artisans.

Day 1:
Arrival at Matetsi Victoria Falls, where the lodge team will welcome you. During your stay this team, including your camp manager, personal butlers, and housekeepers will be looking after you. Settle into your home-away-from-home, relax in one of the beautifully designed indoor or outdoor spaces and enjoy a welcome lunch.
At around 16h00, your ranger guides will meet with you to discuss activities, before departing for an Afternoon Game Drive at approx. 16h30. Return from Game drive at approx. 19h30. Dinner, showcasing delicious regionally sourced ingredients, will be prepared by Matetsi’s exceptional chef team.
Day 2:
If you would like to do an early morning activity, e.g. a game drive, wake-up call will be at approx. 06h00 and you’ll meet for tea/coffee before going out around 06h30. The manager or your butler will confirm these details with you the night before. You would return at about 09h30 for breakfast.
Around 11h30 you’ll be met by your tour guides who will take you through to Victoria Falls town for a day of activities, including a complimentary guided walking tour of the Falls and the option of adrenalin activities including Flying-Fox, Zipline, Gorge Swing which is for your own account. Upon return to the Lodge will lunch be served at the Lodge.
Evening at leisure (or game drive if time permits). Dinner, showcasing delicious regionally sourced ingredients, will be prepared by Matetsi’s exceptional chef team.
Day 3:
Morning wake-up call at approx. 05h30 and meet for teas & coffees before departing for a game drive.
After your morning activity, breakfast will be served on the banks of the Zambezi River. Relax and enjoy the tranquillity of this soulful river.
Day at leisure. Relax at your suites, pass through the shopping boutique, make use of the gym or lap pool, or spa treatments can be pre-booked (these can be done in your room or at the spa area).
Meet your guides at 16h30 to go out for an evening sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
Enjoy dinner a star filled sky, with the sounds of the wilderness creating the most beautiful ambience. A magical experience.
Day 4: Departure
Morning wake-up call at approx. 05h30 and meet for teas & coffees before departing for a game drive or sunrise cruise around 06h00.
Breakfast is served around 09h30 before a mid/late morning departure. Your exact departure time will be confirmed the night before depending on flight details.We look forward to hosting you at Matetsi Victoria Falls.
